The offer of modeling, the reality of bizarre rituals, debts and brutal violence. Russian teenagers leave for Dubai for a vision of luxury, but upon arrival fall into the trap of an illegal escort. Recruiters force them to swear humiliating oaths, take their passports and threaten death in the desert.
Young women, especially from Russia and Africa, mention an even darker part of recruitment. Some groups abuse traditional African rituals known as "juju oaths" . It forces girls to strip naked, kneel for hours, and drink ritualistic, nausea-inducing mixes. They must promise absolute obedience or they risk insanity or death if they try to escape.
Schoolgirls from Russia deceive their parents in order to travel to the UAE to attend parties hosted by sheikhs. Under the guise of "modeling tours," parents sign notarized consent forms for their 16-year-old daughters to travel to Dubai, unaware that they are sending them to work as escorts.
As SHOT has learned, agents from the "modeling industry" have begun actively luring underage girls from Russia to the Emirates for various parties. Schoolgirls are persuaded with stories of expensive gifts, new iPhones, and much more. In a month, "models" can allegedly earn up to 4 million rubles, plus bonuses in the form of jewelry and other gifts from wealthy sheikhs. The girls are required to record a video walking in a swimsuit and send photos.
However, "modeling tours" are a fairy tale for parents. In reality, managers do not particularly hide what exactly the girls will have to do at parties with sheikhs. Schoolgirls are most often from disadvantaged families and hide this from their parents. Experienced "models" claim that all this is a direct ticket to escort work. According to investigators, Nigerian human trafficker Christy Gold (Christiana Jacob Uadiale) is one of the main figures of the network, who lured women to Dubai under the pretext of working in restaurants or salons. Upon arrival, she took their passports, calculated their debts and forced them into prostitution under the threat of curse or death. Her brother functioned as an executor of punishments.

What the company provides:
- 3 meals per day in the hotel you will work in
- Travel expenses paid for (2 flight tickets) as long as contract is completed to full extent
- Visa paid for
- Accomodation paid for (shared with 1 other dancers) in delta sharm resort
- Costume with tailors available to fix at any given time
Dancers must have/provide:
- Uk/eu passport
- Urgent availability to commit to a 6 month contract
- Own black jazz dance shoes
The show is 1 hour long and a fusion of dance styles. Only other duties is rehearsals in preperation for the show, once rehearsals finished there are no extra duties.
