Description:
We are looking for a Graphic Designer with video editing skills who can work both ON SITE & REMOTE with VFX skills to create engaging still/static or in-motion graphics for a variety of digital platforms and print media.
The graphic designer is charged with determining the best ways for us to visually represent our company's innovative products & services. It is a people-oriented job, involving developing high-level innovative concepts for design projects including branding, animations, and infographics for video, print, and social media outlets. It also involves working with internal and external clients, pitching designs, and understanding client needs and objectives.
Responsibilities
Design visual content for print and digital applications that is on-brand reinforces our status and reputation appropriate for our audiences;
Design and layout of essential business materials (e.g. business cards, presentations);
Create infographics and presentation materials to simplify the communication of complex concepts and data;
Edit video clips for use on social media platforms;
Work autonomously and develop high-quality concepts with minimal instruction;
Manage timelines and prioritization of workload, and know when to ask for direction;
Optimize graphics and video content for social media platforms;
Maintain organized content files, and help to organize and archive existing video and graphics files;
Study design briefs and determine requirements.
Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on requirements and discussion
Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic.
Test graphics across various media.
Amend designs after feedback.
Competitive analysis and making sure to create content according to the latest market trends.

Requirements and skills

Experience as a graphic designer
Strong graphics design and motion graphics skills
Experience with computer-aided design
Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, or any other tools assisting
An observant eye for visual composition.
Thorough understanding of marketing, corporate identity, advertisements, product packaging, and multimedia

Starting salary 20,000 birr and bonus every six months
