We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's vision and is suitable for broadcasting. The goal is to bring sight and sound together to tell a cohesive story. As a Video Editor at [Your Company Name], you will work closely with our production team to create high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage into polished videos, including trimming, cutting, and merging clips.
- Add effects, graphics, music, and sound to enhance the final product.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver on brand and vision.
- Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of video.
- Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
- Manage and organize media assets and projects to ensure a streamlined workflow.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing software and techniques.

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro).
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
- Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and compositing.
- Creative mind and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, or a related field.
- Experience in motion graphics and animation.
- Familiarity with color grading software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve).
- Experience in editing content for social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
