Pepperoni and Cheese is currently seeking Edmonton-based actors for the role(s) of ASAD and AMINA for its production at Nextfest 2024.

Asad is a Pakistani immigrant to Canada. He is witty, goofy, and gullible but struggles to make friends at school. When Amina (Asad's mom) says that he can't come back home and must complete his studies first, Asad approaches his roommate, Marshall. Marshall's cool but is going through tough times himself. As they get to know each other, food, laughter, and secrets are shared. However, their nascent friendship takes a dramatic turn when Asad does something at a school party...

*All South Asian identifying actors, regardless of acting experience are encouraged to audition.

Audition dates: Thursday, March 21st between 1pm - 4pm in AND Saturday, March 23rd between 10am - 12pm. (Self-tapes are welcome -- see below for details)

Rehearsal dates: April-May, 2024 (exact dates TBD).

Performance dates: There will be 3 performances between May 30th and June 9th, 2024.
