Looking for young actors

*Casting Call for Male Actor, age 18-40*

*Crescent Moon Theater Productions is currently seeking a male actor, 18-4o*, for the next iteration of Hold On, When Everything Changes in a Flash,' an original documentary theater production honoring the real life stories of young adult refugees.

*We are in search of actors who relish the creative process of devising theater*. Rehearsals will entail devising, improvisation, and collective creation to bring these narratives to life. We seek individuals who thrive in collaborative settings, embracing ensemble work and eagerly contributing their imaginative concepts. Versatility is key, as actors will embody a diverse array of characters and emotions.

Given the sensitive nature of the material, we are looking for individuals who possess cultural sensitivity, open hearts, and a willingness to engage in open dialogue, particularly during challenging moments.

*Rehearsals will take place on Thursdays from 2-5pm in the East Bay and one Saturday a month*. During the Saturday sessions, we will weave the young adults whose stories we are telling into the production. Rehearsals begin on June 6th, 2024.

*The performance will happen at Dance Mission Theater, Sept 27-29 2024.*

*Compensation*: Each artist will receive a base stipend of $1000 plus an equal split of ticket sales.
