Hello! Umbrella Filmworks is casting for a pilot narrative short film, Temple Crimes!

PRODUCTION DETAILS
Synopsis: An Australian convict escapes from Changi prison and abducts an 11-year-old Chinese boy as hostage, only to find great wisdom in the boy. Eventually, the convict learns great humility from the boy.
Commitment: 2-5 days (depending on the character playing)
Language: English
Shoot dates: Tentatively 21st-25th July

We are looking for the following roles:

BOJING
Screen age: 10-12
Chinese
Male
An innocent, gentle and curious young boy who is emotionally suppressed and in need of a father figure.

*PRIYANKA
Screen age: 20s - 30s
Southeast Asian (preferably Indian)
Female
A woman robbed of her youth, a mother figure to Bojing, and is always equipped to fight her way out of difficult situations.

*AN CONG (BOJING's FATHER)
Screen age: 30s - early 50s
Chinese
Male
An emotionally withdrawn man who desires for control in every aspect of his life, including his son.

*Actors with experience are preferred
