Casting for an independent short film, Heart Candies Taste Like Chalk! Director: Aiko Lozar Producer: Lexi Berganio Heart Candies Taste Like Chalk is a true story of two high school girls who date in secret. When Charlotte tells Roxanne that they cannot be seen together due to her homophobic parents, Roxanne must decide whether or not she should end their two-year relationship. Jennifer O'Kelly: (40-50, FEMALE) A white, Catholic mother of two teenagers. She is very set in her ways and refuses to be waited on by Roxanne, who she has recently discovered is gay. Paul O'Kelly: (50-60, MALE) A white, Catholic father of two teenagers. Paul tries to do what he thinks is right, however he is unsupportive and homophobic towards his daughters friend, Roxanne, who has recently been outed as gay. This shoot is unpaid, however we will provide food, credit, and a copy for your reel. Housing will be included if necessary!
