Looking for actors for film

Hey everyone! Mitchell Guynan, Madeline Schmit, and I are looking for actors for our senior capstone short film. Our short film is a soft sci-fi/thriller about a scientist who tries to teach her creation what it's like to be human. It explores themes of control, technology's relationship with humanity, and gender.

Logline: A scientist tries to teach her creation what it means to be human.

STELLA (22-35, FEMALE) - Curious, intelligent, and naively hopeful. Believes she can teach Owen to experience the world.

OWEN (28-45, MALE) - The creation. Unreadable, inaccessible, methodical. Gives away very little, but asks disarming questions at every turn.

Shooting Dates: Oct. 29-31 & Nov. 5-7

Auditions over Zoom: Sept. 5-11

Callbacks in person: Sept. 12-14

Please prepare a dramatic monologue for the audition.
