NY CASTING CALL SEEKING ASIAN FEMALE ACTORS -- please share or tag people! For dark comedy NYU thesis film shooting in Locust Valley, NY (Long Island). Logline: When a bride discovers her mom's plot to kill her grandma, she must prevent the murder without getting her mom arrested - all while juggling her wedding day. VI LIU (20s, East Asian): a sweet-looking girl whose tense veneer of politeness barely holds in twenty-odd years of suppressed rage. VIVIAN LIU (50s, East Asian): a femme fatale type (sans the seducing) -- selfishly manipulative yet deviously cheeky. NAINAI LIU (70s, East Asian): she has the weary self-righteousness of someone who clawed her way out of hell and thinks this grants her the right to be as judgmental as she wants, others' feelings be damned.
