UNCSA CASTING CALL Title: OJ and Short Stack Shoot Dates: March 20th-22nd Winston-Salem, NC Logline: When called upon to look after an uncooperative new foster brother, a young man discovers that in order to keep the peace, he must embrace both his own past traumas as well as the child that represents everything he fears. Roles: Travis (8-11): Frail and shaggy. Growing up in an abusive household has put him in a constant state of fight or flight, and taught him that the worst thing a kid can be is weak. But underneath his ferocity, he's terrified of his new home and the uncontrollable feelings his old home left behind. Rachel (30s-40s): Tall and refined. A nurse by trade, as warm and motherly as she is no-nonsense. Hardest on the ones she loves most, and the only one able to break through Leon's stubbornness.
