Casting Call:
"A Short film", a short film.
Synopsis: Alejandro, a guy nearing his 30's, faces a challenge that had revealed to him long after experiencing a life chapter in which he devoted all of his energy and love towards the wrong gal. After a pivotal moment in which he discovered that he had been playing too much a character that was hiding in his institutionalized and naturally systematic language, a clue that would become the last one he needed to understand what his life would become if he did not act true to himself, decides to cast a woman for "A short film", a short film.
He casts all actresses from all cultures, ethnicities, shapes and tones until a spark of radiant light flashes upon his eyes when he is met with the perfect human being that can interpret the character of his short film for the rest of her life. In a turn of events, they end up producing the longest lasting short film ever made.
Alejandro has found himself to be in a stage in life in which he feels he is becoming alive for the first time. Although feelings of despair, confusion and solitude have been standing by his front door waiting to menace, he joyfully sings and dances to "La Clave Azul - Javier Solis" playing as the soundtrack of his current life. Life has become a playground of joy in which he has learnt to conquer challenges. His new and current challenge is to find a woman who speaks not only the same language but also shares the same vision, ideals, metaphysical standards, and perceptions based on same semantic definitions.
Casting: All women ages 18 to 35.
