Required actors

PROVISIONAL CASTING CALL

I'm considering directing a play in Bristol - later this year or early next year, though obviously depends on the COVID-19 situation. The project hasn't quite been budgeted or green-lit yet, but I've been talking to some actors I can see filling the roles, and in the meantime I'm thinking about organising some Skype/Zoom read-throughs, just to make it easier to cast when the time comes. The play is set at a school in Glasgow and most of the characters are from there so accents are required, although there are a few English characters as well. It's a nine-person cast (five males and four females) and I'm looking for all ages (18 and over). The roles include students, teachers and parents.

If the play itself does go ahead it will be paid, although I'm not sure about specific rates at this stage. We are a fairly small company with a low budget so may not be that much, but if all goes well maybe we'll think about touring it.
